Yesterday I attended the visitation for ACF Life Member Ken Kube who died on January 5th, 2023 at the age of 75.
He loved checkers and chess.
Ken had been a member of the Missouri Checker Association at one time and played
in a number of tournaments. About 5 checker trophies were displayed at the
visitation.
We visited the 2013 Sinquefield Cup chess tournament together and chatted
briefly with world chess champion Magnus Carlsen and got his autograph.
I will forward his obituary from my cell phone.
